I HATE today's mail!!!! I want to tell everyone to NEVER stay at the Hampton Inn New York City Times Square South. I can give you a plethora of reasons but the biggest one. They charged me a $180 deposit. And NEVER gave it back. They even told me I had to take it up with the bank. The bank refunded 2 weeks ago and now they are taking the refund back because Hampton says we didn't deserve it!!!!!

NEVER NEVER stay at this hotel!!!

Quirkybookworm Look up BBB and see if there‘s been any former complaints like yours. Investigate and let your bank know there are problems and complaints against the hotel by others. Don‘t give up. 6y

LibrarianRyan @JoScho first they say they didn't charge us a deposit. Each of us was to pay 236 for the room. I paid 400, because neither of the girls could afford the deposit they didn't know about until we got there. And they booked the hotel 4 months prior to BEA. Our first room had bed bugs. We took the bugs to them. They put us in a different room. They gave us a free night for the bed bug problem. I friend had her money returned. 👇🏻 6y

LibrarianRyan @JoScho it took 3 weeks for that return. Plus they kept giving and taking away the free night the entire time we were there. They said they couldn't be certain that we didn't plant the bed bugs. By the time our trip was over they had closed off that entire floor. (Our bed bugs my a**). I told all this to the bank, plus the broken elevator when you are on the 36th floor. Uggggg. The staff we worked with directly were great. Management sucked. 👇🏻 6y

LibrarianRyan @JoScho and the room was so small. We were disposed to fit five people in the room but we had a hard time figuring out where the 5th person would stay. You couldn't walk between the beds or the wall. We barely had room for our suitcases. They used a picture of a different hotel to make the rooms seem bigger. It was so frustrating. 6y
