Like a lot of horror, it starts off strong and then fizzles a bit at the end. Build up is great, took me a minute to get into the writing style but I love how a mundane scene is being described and then the last sentence or last few words reveals it isn‘t at all ordinary. It makes for an eerie first half. Solid three star read. If you like reading ghost stories, I do recommend it. #ReadSpooky2023

Not your ordinary light holiday reading lol but 2020 has not been an ordinary year. I need something to keep my mind occupied. This was a creepy read! A little out there but if you believe in ghosts at all, it could be believable....

I binged this book in two sittings, it was an absolute page turner. The first half was very creepy, giving spine chills on every page. The second half is downright disturbing, and this coming from someone who reads a lot of horror should warn you about this book. Be sure to have sleepless nights if you pick this one up, but then it also may not be everyone's cup of tea. 💯 marks for being unsettling.

Halfway through this book and I can say it's lived up to my expectations. Every page has already given me chills or goosebumps and if it continues this might as well be at the top of my fav horror books.

That one was a disappointment.
It started ok but suddenly things changed and the ending was weak.

Imagine losing your child, finding out the reason for her demise and in the mist of it, you become the same killer...Yeah, this book was just that good. Twisted turn towards the end.

One of the best horror stories I have read in a very long time. This is one that will stay in my head for days. Very good writing, it dragged me in from the first page.

I picked this up when I accompanied my 6 year old to the library with school. I devoured it in one sitting. So SO good!!! I highly recommend it.

I haven't seen any mentions of this book. I read it last year in October. It is seriously creepy and twisted. I almost needed counseling after reading it. 😳 @JacqMac have you read this one?
