I've been stuck in bed for the last week thanks to a back injury, and yesterday I had the misfortune of my laptop battery dying + my charger stopped working. So grateful for books! What are you reading this weekend?

Reviewsbylola I hope your back is healing. I'll be reading 7y

My new book, FRAGILE, is coming July 5th! I've decided to extend the deadline to invite Bookstagrammers + Litsy users to join the #InstaBookTour + snag a free digital copy.

Want in? Leave me a comment below - I'll be choosing several!

Published by Wild Hare Collective, FRAGILE is only 35,000 words and it is the first in a series of books about difficult topics and diverse characters that are relevant, relatable, and utterly binge-worthy.

Jane Two: A Novel | Sean Patrick Flanery

I was lucky enough to work with Sean Patrick Flanery as a client at my old job, so I got to read this book well before it was released. I'd never been so attached to a client's book, and lemme tell you - it's a tear jerker.

RadicalReader @jandralee thanks so much for following me I love seeing what books followers recommend to add to my ever expanding library 7y

Does anyone else find themselves collecting the classics? I've always believed they're classics for a reason, and I love adding to my collection!

booksavvyreviews I collect old books. They smell and look amazing. 7y
jandralee @booksavvysissy Agreed! I have a couple of first editions, and they're so wonderful. 7y
MrBook @BookBabe and I have a small but growing #vintageedition collection 👍🏻👍🏻. F & Z is one of my favorites! 7y
jandralee @MrBook Mine too! A friend recommended to when I was living abroad, and I loved it. I think I spent more time in the school's library devouring classics during grad school than I did working on my MA (which is in history, not literature.) 7y

If you haven't read Lucky Me, I highly recommend it! I freaking loved this book - it's smart, cute, funny, and definitely worth a read.

RadicalReader @jandralee this is definitely the most interesting family life if ever there was one 7y

This is one of my favorites because it's so heartbreakingly true.

abhisynthe I think sometimes we fall into that toxic depth because it seems like the standards we set as the norm themselves are anxiety inducing. Secretely everyone behind doors is someone else. Secretary ... everyone might be waiting for the end of the world. 7y
jandralee @abhisynthe I definitely think a lot of the world's problems are fueled by two things: fear and the unknown. (And probably fear of the unknown.) 7y

This is one of the only books I've read that deals with a character who has anxiety, which I absolutely loved.
