New start tonight! I've read some very mixed reviews on this book, so let's dive in and see shall we? Xx
pickQuick read, I noticed 1 main mistake - the detective was a former smoker at the start of the book, but by the end had never smoked before in his life...?
I also felt that pushing their main suspect over the railings was unnecessary and messy compared to the rest of the book. Everything after this seemed rushed - as if the author suddenly remembered he had a word limit and crammed the rest of the novel in...
Overall an enjoyable read.
pickRead this in 2 sittings, definitely a page turner. Author could have written more on Anne's dissociative disorder, perhaps done more research. The book could have had a nice happy ending by stopping just a page shorter - I don't think there was any need for Anne to kill Cynthia, she could have just held that information and been 'in control' of Cynthia instead...
I did enjoy this book though, and would be interested in reading her next novel.

Finally made it to Part 2 ❤❤❤ Loving it so far! It's written as a narrative, with very little in the 1st person which strangely took a while to get my head around, but it suits this story really well!
Loving this book so far, even though it is such a S - L - O - W read :/ Only on page 194 (of 832) but I can't put it down! I do have to do the thing where you just shut the book for a few minutes and stare off into the distance though, as sometimes there is so much happening you need to enact the parts in your head too lol 😂
P.S. this is my baby Coco keeping me company whilst I read. She is making such cute snoring noises that I can't even ❤❤❤

Ready to start a new book, have tried and failed to read this before, hoping that this time I can get a big chunk read and stick with it!
3hrs into my first read of the weekend for #24in48, loving this book, a must read for anyone who is battling with anxiety, or anyone who knows anyone who has battled with anxiety 😊😊😊
