pickThis was a bit of a slow read for me, but it was super informative. If you love video games and want to know more about the history behind the consoles and the boom of video games, this book is for you. Definitely has a bit of an authorial bias, but the way the facts are written as like a narrative is really nice and makes you connect to these real movers and shakers of the video game world. Overall, I definitely recommend.

pickMy #AdventuresinYA is something I'm going to start to keep track of all the YA books I love to read, good or bad. This one mixes magic, Greek mythology, and high school drama. It has pretty overdone plot points (love triangles, chosen one), but I enjoyed it nonetheless for an easy read. I look forward to the rest in the series! 😸
pickAbsolutely loved it. The detail and the songs are wonderfully written, and add so much to the story that I already knew through the movies. Can't wait to keep following the Fellowship in the next two books.
Can you believe I have never read the entirety of the Lord of the Rings books? I feel like I should be shamed! Tennyson won't even look at me. 🐶 So, I'm starting it now so I can redeem my nerd card again. 😆
Just downloaded this one! I'm a lover of all things video games, so I knew I had to get my hands on this one. I'm ready to learn a whole lot more about the industry in general, and the history behind my fave consoles. And right now, it's only 1.99 on Kindle! Quite the deal. 😻
