Science Fiction often examines the human condition and how we would react in different situations. This beautiful examination of how we would act if 99.99% of humanity disappeared tells many stories, not just one. In a way that seems to reflect Watership Downs' exploration of different societies, the plot twists and turns to guide you through the solar system and back home.

Absolutely fantastic end of the series. The world she built is intricate and well thought out. Highly recommend.

Just finished and absolutely loved this book. Thought it was going to be predictable, definitely wasn't.
Also, I'm including it in my research when NASA asks me what my qualifications are to be the first Red on Mars.

Being a Preacher's Kid means being a part of a strange group. Yet my favourite librarian has now recommended two AMAZING books with PKs in them.
Just finished Female of the Species, absolutely brilliant.

Le Sommeil Des Géants arrived yesterday! 21 days until I can add the hardcover of Waking Gods to the collection!
It is easily the best book of 2017. @Neuvel's Sleeping Giants is fantastic Waking Gods is even better.

What can I even say about this book without spoilers? It hurt me to put this book down and go to work while I was reading it. Nonstop, heart pounding plot twists that you could never predict.
Absolutely amazing book that built on the story and characters we love from the first one. Now I'm going to spend a year freaking out until the 3rd comes out.
@Neuvel thank you thank you thank you for writing this book, and getting me an ARC.

Definitely worth the read.

This felt like Grown-Up Narnia.
A group finds a door to another mysterious and somewhat magical land, with a tyrant witch ruling it.
Many plot twists and did keep me on my toes.

But, but I love maps in fantasy books...

So far I'm loving this one. It reminds me of my first trip to Narnia.

Norse Mythology | Neil Gaiman

Pickpick

I was sent this book because I'm a fan of Neil Gaiman and knew nothing about Norse Mythology. That is definitely the target audience. The stories are told simply for those of us who know little about the Norse Gods, but are very intriguing and keep you captivated.
I read this in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down. All fantasy fans should read it to learn the inspiration behind so many stories.

A fantastic ending to a series. The great thing about Catherynne Valente is you can never even guess where the story will take you.

It was like the book couldn't decide what direction to go in. I didn't care about any of the characters, so putting it down and forgetting about it often happened.
I'm starting the 3rd tonight, hopefully it redeems itself.
