Just started this one last night. Only atChapter 18, but it‘s pretty good so far. They writer just found the book that mirrors their own trip. Stuff should be about to go down!

Pickpick

I live within the radius of these murders currently. My mother went to Eastern right after he was convicted so a lot of the security items were still being implemented. They have changed the names in the book but it does not detract from the engrossing story line.

Started listening to this before bed. Danny seems to have come into the bands life later in their career, but was a friend to them as well as a manager.

Awesome book. Stephen King does not disappoint. This hands out the age old question of, “if you had the power, would you do it?”

This is an amazing book. I‘ve read it at least three times and always love how it ends. A little justice and a lot of love.

Quirkybookworm I believe it's one of the best war stories. Better than Nightingale. 6y

I had watched the series on Netflix after my husband‘s aunts had told me about it. After that I decided I wanted to read the books too. Great read!! History buffs will like it as well as those who like a good story teller. Jennifer Worth had a lot of great experiences after WWII bringing forth life to those living in the east end of London.

So, I had started listening to this a while ago and parts of it were a great read. There was, however, a great deal of information about constructing the worlds fair and issues that they were having. This would have been great, if that‘s the information I was looking for. The parts about H.H. Holmes were scant and far apart. I had to bail. :(

Started listening to this about a week ago. Not super far in but it‘s ok so far. A lot of architectural references. Holmes was a very crafty person. Unfortunately you can visit the site if the murder castle today but the building is no longer there. The post office occupies a portion of the footprint.

Going through some of the books from my youth. I listened to this one about three weeks ago. All ways loved this book. It‘s still good, although from a different perspective as an adult. Great read for teenage girls as well.

Awesome read. It really delves deeply into the life of one of Charlie‘s girls and how he manipulated them into following him. Diane takes you into the counter culture scene and how the actions of others can push us to places we never thought we‘d go.

Sorry I‘ve been behind in my postings. Listening to this now. If you like the subject, you can get past her voice on the audio book. It really gives an inside look into how Charlie kept his “Family” in line and together.

Started to listen to this book last week. Wasn‘t sure about it so I waited to post. It‘s slow to start but is progressively getting better. It‘s easier for me to use Audible when I‘m at work so I can listen while I work and drive!! More books!! I‘ll keep you posted on how it goes.

Reading/listening to this powerful work. Not too far in but already moved by her journey.

Remember, I am not recording the vision of a madman. The sun does not more certainly shine in the heavens, than that which I now affirm is true. Some miracle might have produced it, yet the stages of discovery were distinct and probable. After days and nights of incredible labour and fatigue, I succeeded in discovering the cause of generation and life; may, more, I became capable of bestowing animation upon lifeless matter.

RaimeyGallant Nice quote. :) And welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon Some of us put together Litsy tips to help new Littens navigate the site. It's the link in my bio on my page in case you're interested. :) 6y
