This RF book was an intense read and I was disappointed at the end. It was a good selection and I cried/was upset a few times throughout the book. I was just hoping that the ending would have been a lot better. I feel that there was many unanswered questions which could imply a second pax book maybe on the way? (I forgot to take a picture, so I used my lit circle illustration)

DrSpalding Your LC Illustration looks great! I had similar feelings throughout and at the end of this book. 7y

This F book is really a really sweet read. Penny is walking down the road and she finds a marble in Mrs.Goodwins yard that she fell in love with. She takes it home with her and then feels guilty for "stealing it". Penny took it back and Mrs.Goodwin said she could keep it!

If you have free time with your students outside this could be a fun activity to do!

This F book was a very interesting read. I honestly have never read a book that introduces Spanish words as well. This would be a perfect book for you to have in your class for your Spanish speaking kids as it is in English but they will have a connection to the book as it has Spanish also! I will definitely have this in my classrom library.

DrSpalding Your Schachner webisode is AWESOME! This would make a super QR code for this book to be read independently! All of her books have the Spanish language included and are excellent selections for all students! 7y

I absolutely thought this F book was hilarious! My niece absolutely loves this book (7 years old), she made me read it to her. Cows are unhappy with their living situations so they wrote a letter to their caregiver by using a typewriter... The ending is the best part of the book though!

A step by step on how a teacher incorporated this book:

I love this TL book. I love these type of stories since I was a kid and since I have a connection with books like this I am sure I will be sharing them with my classroom students. Rumpelstiltskin comes to save the day for this girl but "magic always comes with a price..." what is the price she will have to pay?

Here is a lesson plan that can be incorporated with this book:

DrSpalding It is wise to use the author's site as your source! Award winning TL! 7y
AmandaN I have not read this book in so long! Thanks for sharing. I will have to pick it up again. 7y

Pete the cat F books are awesome. Pete never worries about a thing! He just goes around enjoying the good things in life. In this book the main problem was getting his white shoes dyed by multiple different colors but it didn't matter to him, he still loved them regardless!

Here is a YouTube video and a color activity for students.

Pete the cat, F books, are always so fun to read! This book was about seeing the world in a different way when anyone would wear the "Magic Sunglasses". The magic sunglasses then broke! Pete the cat was not upset and realized it was just an illusion and seen the world the same way without the glasses!

This Animal Fiction book is really sweet! I enjoyed it and believe this would be a good book to read to your young students as it might help them feel more comfortable at school/in class if they have a kissing hand!

This website has many different resources for activities, lesson plans, and printables for implementing the kissing hand into your classroom!

The Relatives Came is a HF book (I believe). It is really good and brings back memories of when we would visit my relatives vice versa. Over the summer they would drive to their relatives house, stayed and help them out, spent time together, and enjoyed their time! Once they got home to VA they already missed their family and couldn't wait until next summer!

I really enjoyed this F book. It's about a boy named owen who LOVES his little blankie and takes it everywhere. The neighbor convinces his parents that they need to get the blankie away from owen. Parents tried all the suggestions the neighbor had (Blanket Fairy, Vinegar, etc) nothing worked until the mom has a grand idea which works!

This nonfiction picture book teaches young readers about various different aspects of animals with facts. For example, it goes through "what do you do with eyes like this.. nose like this.. mouth like this.." and shows kids different animals and what they actually use all of those aspects for.

Chrysanthemum is a realistic fiction picture book. The little girls parents think everything about her is perfect, especially her name. Chrysanthemum also thought it was perfect until she went to school and her classmates made fun of her name. Until one day one adult changes things.
