A bestselling author found in a pool of blood in her hotel room. What unfolded was a very well written book of hidden secrets from this authors past that noone has any idea about the fatal circumstances she was involved in,that compelled her to reinvent her entire life story.. This was one action packed, suspenseful and twisty read.I loved the pacing of it and the tension I felt between the characters whilst reading it was palpable.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I think this was my first book by this author and I enjoyed it! It‘s twisty and suspenseful and, while I could guess some of the twists, the final one I definitely didn‘t see coming! I went back and forth between the ebook and audiobook and I highly recommend the audiobook. All in all a solid mystery. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

A famous author is on tour and during her last stop a stranger stands up and walks out. The author sees the man leave and suddenly faints. She did something bad when she was younger and now the people in her life could find out the truth.
I enjoyed this one, even though I figured out the twist.

J.T. Ellison never ceases to amaze me. This was predictable, yet she still throws you curves. The ending was 🤯🤯!

Another page turner with many twists I saw coming... But one I didn't. First Ellison I've read, but not the last! #ReadYourKindle #JumpStart2025 @Lizpixie
⭐⭐⭐⭐/⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The minute I read this, I knew that Ms. Ellison was from Nashville. She knows what's up. 😁
This story sucks you in quickly and spits you out at the end of the wild ride. The characters are distinctly different, and their backstories are well defined. I guessed a few things and thought I figured out more but was turned around a few times and surprised till the very end.

I participated in another Back Room author event graciously hosted by Hank Phillippi Ryan and Karen Dionne. There were engaging conversations with authors Tracy Clark, J.T. Ellison, Jessica Strawser, and Stephanie Wrobel. I wrote about my experience on my blog.
