The Iron Trial (Book One of Magisterium) | Cassandra Clare, Holly Black

I really had to push myself to finish this book, I started it 4 times before I finally managed it. The writing wasn't BAD, I just found way to many similarities between this and another series. I am not going to be continuing on with this series.

I knew it! I knew that something bad was going to happen at the end. Why couldn't you have just left him alone? Hate the fact that I have to wait for LEGION to come out to find out what happens next.

Not exactly the creepy book that I was looking for, but it was still interesting. I know that I'm definitely going to be continuing on with this series.

So very close to finishing this book... I'm kind of terrified to know what is going to go wrong - Everything seems to be going to easily right now

BookFreakOut Ha, you know it can't stay that way forever! 8y

Wow. Wow. Wow. I picked this up while it was on sale, just because of the cover. Once I started reading, I was sucked into the story completely. UNSPEAKABLE has such an intriguing plot, full of twists and turns. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was a little disinterested at the beginning of this book, but when things started to pick up a little bit, I flew through the pages. I was so surprised at the ending, I knew something was off with Joe, but was definitely not expecting that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was sucked straight back into the world of Jacob and the Peculiars as they try and make their way through 1940 to help their headmistress, Miss Peregrine. I love the way that RIGGS builds the world around the characters and I cannot wait to read LIBRARY OF SOULS. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

ShelfishlyAddicted I keep hearing about these books. I felt initially that they weren't really my "thing" but I may need to reconsider, given all the rave reviews I've read. 8y

Ohmygod! This book was so worth the wait. Feyre being a complete badass. Tamlin being a dick. Rhys being totally amazing. I just... I can't. I have all of the feels. The wait for the next one is going to be hard, but that's okay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oh my goodness... This book was freaking amazing! I had BluexGansey feels. And RonanxAdam feels. And just simply Noah feels all over the place. I cannot believe this series is finished, but it was such a great ending to the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oh bloodydamn. This book was just one twist after another. Full of betrayals and death. I am absolutely in love with this trilogy, but I am terrified of what will happen in MORNING STAR. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Armada: A Novel | Ernest Cline

I feel bad writing this review, but tbh, I finished this book simply because I don't like leaving books unfinished. I didn't connect with any of the characters, and I found the plot to be incredibly predictable. ⭐️⭐️

Okay, so this may have taken me forever to get into, but once I did it was absolutely amazing! Such a different take on a novel, I cannot wait to get stuck into his other books ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sue I love this so much, the 80s references took me screaming back to my childhood. The audio is read by Wil Wheaton, who does it brilliantly. 8y
LitHousewife I agree with Sue. The audiobook was such a fun reading experience. It was a stretch read for me and I'm so glad I made it. 8y
LorriMcMahonCastro I loved this book. Same as you guys, not my normal genre, but I have played MMOROGs before so I could relate with that and all the 80s references. Thoroughly enjoyed it! 8y

LizzyNanney Gosh yes! The moment on the audiobook when Wil Wheaton reads the Wil Wheaton reference is my favorite moment on any audiobook ever! 8y
AvidReader25 I second @jeff The audiobook is fantastic! 8y
Megabooks It took too long to get into for me! Plus, I think I just wasn't as in the mood for sci-fi as I thought. 8y

I didn't know really what to expect when I started on this book, but boy was that an emotional rollercoaster. I found myself unable to put it down on numerous occasions and I was disappointed when it ended, only because I would have liked more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I flew through this book in only ONE sitting. I expected some of the twists to happen, while other twists hit me completely unexpectedly. Such a cutesy novel, it definitely gave me feels. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was the book to get me out of my reading slump. It was such a fluffy, quick read. I found myself yelling at the characters to hurry up and figure out that they still had feelings for each other. Cannot wait to read more by this author. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book was totally not what I was expecting it to be. It made me laugh (a lot), it also made me tear up as it made me understand that I am not alone when it comes to my depression and anxiety. Cannot wait to read more by this author😄
