Finished! Definitely not bad for a middle book, but I felt like at times it dragged. Definitely picked up near the end.
Loved shadow and bone so much, I had to order the next two & thanks to Amazon prime they were here by Monday afternoon.
This was sometimes hard to read, not because it was poorly written, but because the subject matter was hard to handle at times. Once you pieced together what was going on, you really wanted to take all the women away from the men. A good read if you enjoy dystopian novels or enjoyed 'The Handmaids Tale'. #justfinished #librarybook #gatherthedaughters
Only 30 pages in and I already want to scream. Is this a cult? It totally sounds like a cult, but I can't stop reading. #gatherthedaughters #currentlyreading
Loved the various stories and how Dumbledore gave his take on them and explained things a bit more thoroughly.
Oh my goodness. This book. Adorable. Lovely. Ugh. Perfect. I don't want to ruin it for anyone but if you're passionate about the outdoors & conservation but don't mind a love story intermingling, read this.
This book. Wow. When I think I know what's going to happen there's a major plot twist. Damnit, Robin. #thesharkclub #annkiddtaylor #currentlyreading
Definitely a tear jerker. Loved it though, and how it talked about how to explain something so hard, someone slowly dying, to someone who is far too young to understand this heavy topic. But it's done in a graceful way which I loved. #novella #fredrikbackman
Loved the book and how it ended on a high note. Very sentimental and cute while dealing with such a heavy subject. Loved it.
My kombucha sort of matches the topic of this book. #kombucha #goodbyevitamin
Finished this today. I love Amy as an actress but as an author, it's not her forte. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone mostly because I struggled reading it (forced myself to via doing reading sprints) just in hopes that it would get better; it never did. #yesPlease #amyPoehler #librarybook
I cannot believe how quickly I was sucked into this book and how much I enjoyed it. I loved their view on the fitness industry through their character Janey. The things that women will go to for fitness and the ideal image. It makes me cringe and appreciate where I am at with my body as well. This book, with its subtleties, will hang in my mind for a bit.
Oh my goodness. This book. I wanted to scream at a character by the end for being such a prick. So uncaring. All about himself. Ugh. A good book though, a really good book. #thegirlonthetrain #thriller #paulahawkins #fiction
Literally about 48% through this book (according to GR) and I adore it. Love it. Wish I didn't have to sleep because I love it so much. #ya #ireadya #youngadult #whendimplemetrishi
Working on this book now! #whendimplemetrishi #youngadult #ireadya
Quick read, mostly that's it. There's a decent sum of sex scenes but nothing as bad as 50 shades; this book is like PG-13 if you're comparing sex scenes to 50 shades.
Loved this! The rotating dialogue between the family is what kept me entertained. Listening to how all of them dealt with the grief was interesting.
Surprisingly sucked into this book. #thesalthouse
I finished Little Bee last night and my goodness; I adore it. Though I'm not sure if I'd ever pick it up again. I liked the plot behind it and the fact that you got to see how two characters developed together and how much their relationship grew. Definitely a good read if you're interested in the refugee crisis.
When you hear about how Little Bee chose her name and what people did to your sister, it'll break your heart a little bit. But I just can't put it down.
