I can't believe it's the end of June!! Where is this year going? And I'm sad to say I'm waaaaaaaay behind on my Goodreads goal, like my goal was 70 and I should be at 35 but I'm only at 19. I feel like there's no way I'll catch up 😳. And every year I tell myself I want to give the LOTR trilogy another try, and every year I only get about about a third of the way through the first book. I'm thinking of trying the audiobook book this year though 🤔

I wasn't sure whether I'd like this book or not, but it ended up being one of my favorite reads of 2016. Mark Watney is super hilarious and amazingly resourceful - he's a total bad ass that I couldn't help but root for. Also, there's a donut in this picture.

This is one of my all time favorite reads!! The formatting takes a little time to get used to, but once you've got it figured out you're totally sucked in. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. And some of the pages hardly have any words so it makes you feel like you're reading super fast 😂.

I have to say I'm really enjoying Litsy. Who would have thought people would be happier with a chronological feed 🙄😂. I will say though that I'm having a hard time keeping up with both bookstagram and Litsy. Anyone else having that problem??

Hello everyone!! It's so exciting to see so many of my bookstagram friends pop up on here. I've used this app on and off but never really got too into it because all of the interaction was over on IG, but maybe that will change now 😄. How many of these books have you guys read? See any favorites? I've read 14 and I'd have to say TRC and Salt to the Sea are my faves 😄

Okay so I ended up really liking this book! I know some people can't get into it and find the family annoying but I thought the characterization was great. I felt like I really got to know these people, and even better I felt like I was was off in Spain with them! Maybe listening to it on audio helped 🤔.

This book had so many unique things going for it, but then about halfway through I found myself losing interest. I think it was because it became more about the love story and not the other really cool things that were happening. I've come to realize that I just don't like much romance in my fantasy books. The writing was lovely though. Now I just have to decide if I'm going to read the next one?????

Just finished rereading this book and I'm so glad I did. The friendships, mood, and atmosphere are just brilliant. Now I just wish I were in Henrietta hunting ley lines with the gang. I love my Raven Boys!

Just started this the other night and I had zero expectations, but it's been really entertaining so far. I'm zipping right through it 😄

I'm loving how varied the stories are in this! I had no idea some of them would be fantasy. I guess that's what happens when you judge a book by its cover!
