Maja Lunde's novel (first released in Norwegian) is a beautiful story about 3 families at 3 points in history and the complexities of their relationships with each other, and bees. Told in differing points of view by William in 1852 England, George in 2007 USA, and Tao in 2098 China, I was instantly drawn into their stories and I'm sure you will be too! It releases in English on August 22nd so mark your calendars!
It's dreary and rainy today so I'm curling up with some coffee and one of my favorite candles! I'm about a third of the way into The Summer that Melted Everything and while the material is heavy I'm loving the writing. Have you read this yet?? Thoughts?
