Nothing like a book about books get you in the mood to read....

WanderingBookaneer I loved the first book. It was so great that I was disappointed by books 2 and 3. Book 4, however, tied everything together masterfully. 2mo
Hidie @WanderingBookaneer Hi! Yes, I really liked Shadow of the Wind but I read it ages ago and don't remember much about it except that I enjoyed it. I haven't read the others but I have them all. After this I'm planning to read Labyrinth of Spirits. 2mo

I'm looking to join a cool online book club for book recs and also to discuss books...any ideas and suggestions? Thanks in advance!

britt_brooke I get tons of rec just from cruising Litsy. 😆 Have you joined any of the buddy reads on here? They are kind of like a book club, but just for a book at a time. A good example of a recurring one is @LitsyBuddyRead hosted by the lovely @Jess7 (edited) 12mo
Hidie Thanks! I haven't yet joined a buddy read on here, but it's something I'd like to try if I like the chosen book. 12mo

I wanted to read this after learning that it has a Netflix adaptation. I didn't realize it was an epistolary novel until I started reading. I'm not too fond of epistolary novels, and this one is a bit bland, so I don't know if I'm gonna see it through...

I made a mistake if reading the summary at the back of the book and now I want to postpone the tragic (?) inevitable outcome. Say it isn't so, Angel Clare...so seem like a nice guy!! #wanttoreaditbutdontwanttoreadit

Wow..what a complete waste of time! 500+ pages of a witch and a vampire drinking wine, doing yoga and acting like idiots. I can't believe I wasted so much time, not to mention money, on this book (and the other two books in the trilogy). Ugh!!!
