My boyfriend picked this for me in a book shop a few weeks ago, purely because he says I cackle like a witch when I laugh. As it turns out it‘s actually an incredible read! A raw, brutally honest and at times darkly humorous account of the witch trials. Really enjoyed reading this one.. might have to get him to pick books for me again #pick #witchtrials

I enjoyed the writing and the depth of so many different characters. But in my opinion this book was far too long (and normally I love a book that‘s 500+ pages!) I just found this one dragged, too many unnecessary chapters it felt like I was reading it forever but couldn‘t really identify a solid plot. Not my favourite 🤷🏻‍♀️

I‘m not sure enjoy is the right word for this one. Heavy, Intense and thought provoking, I finished it in two days!
Wasn‘t quite ready for how dark things got towards the end and it left me feeling a bit frustrated. Having said that, Malorie Blackman is a legend and I can‘t believe it‘s taken me this long to read.

I was unsure of this one for most of the book. Couldn‘t quite get to grips with her writing style. I‘m all for comedy in books but some points it felt out of place and unnecessary. That ending however caught me off guard so have to give credit for that..

I‘m not normally one to bail on a book. But I just couldn‘t carry on with this one. I read It Ends with us and wasn‘t overwhelmed but enjoyed the story telling at least. This however just felt totally unnecessary, predictable and quite cringy. I know some people are obsessed by Colleen Hoover but I just don‘t get it 🤷🏻‍♀️
