I enjoyed it up until the end - I do like sci-fi/fantasy I just feel like it was missing something. I think more than anything it freaked me out and reminded me that there are crazy psychos out there who stalk people on social media - I feel like I want to be like Ron Swanson and go off the grid! Lol! Other than that it was a decent modern day creepy novel - I will still consider checking out other novels by this author.

This book pulled at my heart strings!! I love historical fiction, even though I believe it was based on a true story - Regardless, there was love, drama, passion, hurt and betrayal. So many feels! Each character had their own struggle and the author did an amazing job at making you understand their journey- Beautiful story!!

It took me a bit of time to read as I usually just get a chance when I‘m on the train, but aside from that I found it to be a great novel about young love, learning and growing through different experiences, and how life can be so different for every person. Loved the author wrote the characters and how you get to be with them on their journey to a new place in their life.

I love sci-fi movies but usually don‘t care for sci-fi books, which is weird - but a friend recommended i check out the audible version and i loved it! Listened to it every chance i could ... If you like 80‘s nostalgia and stories that include a dystopian society then you‘ll love it !!

Pretty depressing story, although I know this is how life was back in the early 19th century it‘s still hard to believe how women were treated back then, and how women used to just suck it up and do what was expected in order to prevent ‘gossip‘! ... Reminds me of stories my grandma would tell me :(

Loved it! Definitely became a page turner! Loved the story being told through different characters.

About half way through ... So far so good. Loving the way Wilde uses words. Never was assigned to read this book while in school so I had to give it a go. Also, when in Santa Cruz, check out their book shop!
