This book gave me chills from the moment I began. It is such an outstanding take on racism in American society today. As an African American female, I thought at first “what does a white woman know about racism?” But, as I progressed into the book the overall outcome served as a life lesson and set a tone for realization that many people need. This was a very beautiful book, honestly.
