I love this book, I didn‘t know that Tom Hanks is such a good storyteller! Each of the story has warm, nice and funny ambiance that can make me smile. I can imagine Hanks reading these stories to me in his particular voice.. also, I like how he made the typewriters become cameos in the stories. Cute!

This is my first encounter with Margaret Atwood. So far I enjoy the narrative- although I can see that it's gonna be bleak....

Full of potential but went a bit downhill from the mid onwards. The background story is very interesting though, an African American family consists of 13 children, living in crumbling Detroit.

Uhm I find some parts of this book a bit boring 😆 I was hoping for a memorable memoir from one of the greatest writers from Turkey, combined with a deep description about Istanbul. Turned out, this is more like a history book about Istanbul, with glimpses of Pamuk's background. A bit unsattisfying.

I love this cute book about a game called Book Scavenger. It reminds me of Bookcrossing days 😊😊 The setting, San Francisco, with all the landmarks and bookish facts, fits so much with the story. Perfect holiday book for all book lovers!

The spooky gothic story disturbed my sleep but it's actually worth it!! I tried to divide my time between helping my son with his math test and reading the scary book 😁😁😁

I'm a late visitor to this wonderful world created by Patrick Ness and Siobhan Dowd. But I'd definitely finish this before the movie's out!!!

But surely to tell these tall tales and others like them would be to speed the myth, the wicked lie, that the past is always tense and the future, perfect. And as Archie knows, it's not like that. It's never been like that.

Just received this in my mail and can't wait to start it! Books about circus always interest me. I hope this one will live up to the expectation 😊
