The free verse format is an excellent way to tell this story for young adults without getting bogged down in decades of details.

Each book in this series was better than the last. I'll admit to weeping through parts of this one. I feel the message in this book is even more powerful than other boos I've read covering this topic because the illustrations sync so perfectly with the text. This is an essential book for every school library.
