I read this in high school and at the time I was a bit of a snob, never venturing outside of the horror genre. This book/play made me fall in love with Shakespeare. It's was so funny and clever I found it impossible to resist enjoying it.

I loved this book and I'll admit I was a bit hesitant after seeing it as an Oprah pick bc some of her recommendations I did not care for however this was amazing. I loved this take on Hamlet in a rural Wisconsin with a mute child. It has everything sex, revenge, dog breeding, family, murder.
I love this book and here's my copy of it from when I was a kid as well as my tattoo of room 217 (the movie is room 237 but the book 217).
I am so excited to start this! I've been waiting for Joe Hill's next book forever!!
Tragic oral history of one of our greatest punk rock icons, Darby Crash of The Germs. If you like books based on the punk scene or music in general you'll love this.
I find it difficult to enjoy anything written by a hateful ignorant author who makes their personal beliefs known by shouting them from a rooftop so to speak regarding their prejudices regarding homosexuality, race and religions other than Mormon. 👎👎👎👬 equality for all.
I read this book many years ago & did a paper on it when I was an undergrad for a psy class, I'm a social worker & counselor. The man was truly one of a kind. I've loved Motörhead since I was a wee boy and this book just solidified that love. Gone too soon.
My best friend and dog, Walter White, ate my book which now is held together with duct tape. Still a great read and the fact that the author working as a spy in the real world makes it that much more engaging and believable.
I could not put this book down though it's not for all. A gritty grimy novel using an idiosyncratic style following the exploits of people set in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn. Drugs, prostitution, homosexuality, transvestism, violence, despair, depression, hope just to name a few themes.
A stunning masterpiece. This series is incredible and needs to be read. No description I can provide will exemplify the brilliance and originality of these books. (My Sandman tattoo)
This is one of the greatest books of all time. A dystopian future where books are outlawed and free thinking is closely monitored to control. "It was a pleasure to burn."
"Gerald's Game" was a unique experience and I loved every minute of it. The psychological torture that Jesse, the main character, goes through is horrific. Her mind is her worst enemy after being handcuffed to a bed after playing a bondage game with her husband.
