Nope. Ketchum is in a category all his own, for better or worse. Some of his thrillers define “page-turner,” but this one was just a dog. Don‘t bother.

There are no words for the writing in this book… an explanation is impossible as the feelings are multiple laughter, hope, anxiety, sympathy, and devastation are just some of what is pulled from you while reading this first book of the Malazan tales of Witness. Steven Erikson has succeeded in capturing my attention once again it is a must read 🤨📖 … can‘t wait for what follows.
