I don‘t read a ton of YL so I am not sure I have read enough works to compare it to. I enjoyed the story of the book and liked that it was set in modern day Osaka. I felt there was some problems with the book. In my opinion the book would have been improved by having the friends give their thoughts on the planned suicide. The book brings up a serious topic but I don‘t think explores it enough before the final decision is made.

This big book set in Japan, which I read as a college freshman, is the first book that comes to mind for #BigInJapan. #WanderingJune

Great start to a historical mystery series set in the world of samurais in Japan. Will definitely continue with the series. A fascinating historical world well created.

I loved Usagi's character as a kid watching TMNT. When I read recently that IDW was giving him his own new graphic novel series I decided to find the original comics to read. Luckily, my library's overdrive has them. 💚 I've never read them before and it's fun finding out some background on this badass samuari rabbit. I just finished the first book and loved it.

Any other TMNT fans out there?
