1. Usually several, but lately I‘ve been focusing on two at a time.
2. I see a movie playing vividly in my head.
3. I‘ve done both.
4. Don‘t have kids. But if I did I‘d read them books like Alice‘s Adventures in Wonderland, Harry Potter, The Neverending Story, The Hobbit, The Chronicles of Narnia, Winnie the Pooh.

1) I prefer to read several books at one time, but I end up reading one book at a time eventually
2) When I read I see images like an animation clip
3) I would say that I place myself in the story
4) I would like to read is "The Hungry Catepillar"

1. I used to be a strictly one-book-at-a-time girl, but that‘s changed! I now simultaneously read one book, listen to an audible book, and read one or more books for group reads.
2. Yes, and it‘s usually much better than the actual film!
3. I guess an outsider, but I strongly identify with the characters and empathize with them.
4. My children are grown, so my ongoing task is to try to persuade them to read my favorites! 😁

🎀 On the whole, I‘ll read one at a time. But if I‘m struggling with a book, I‘ll pick up another to read as well.

🎀 Definitely a movie.

🎀 Outside looking in, but if I‘ve really enjoyed a book I have a habit of creating new characters and plot lines so I can keep the story going in my head. I find it hard to let go sometimes 😂

🎀 101 Dalmatians by Dodie Smith.

Nu-Bibliophile That's so funny because I try to make up plot lines too to extend the story especially the ones that moved me. Yay! I found someone that does the same thing 🙌🙌 6y
aimelou26 @nu-bibliophile 😄 I‘m so happy that I‘ve found someone else who does this! It‘s just so hard to let characters go sometimes! 🙈 6y

1. I used to just read one, but over the last few years I‘ve regularly been reading 4 or 5 at once, so I‘ve gotten used to going back and forth!
2. Sometimes it‘s really clear like watching a movie, other times it‘s just bits and pieces of image & sound like a dream.
3. Outside, but usually close (like a movie).
4. So many! I loved fantasy books like Harry Potter & Septimus Heap, so those for sure 🔮🧙🏻‍♀️

1.) I definitely read several at once. But they are usually different genres. Rarely same genre multiple books.
2.) Most books images... some kidlit or fantasy books are more movie like.
3.) Outside looking in 99% of the time.
4.) Harry Potter. So stereotypical haha. But also, The Penderwicks, Chronicles of Narnia, Little House books, anything by Sharon Creech, everything by Cynthia Rylant. Yep. Etc.

@nu-bibliophile #onlyreadersunderstand

Nu-Bibliophile Seems like Harry Potter is people's top choice today. 6y
SamanthaMarie @nu-bibliophile Not surprising!! I think if you love Harry Potter the next best thing to reading it for the first time is having your kiddos read it for the first time haha. Reliving the magic. 6y
Nu-Bibliophile @SamanthaMarie Agree!! 👍👍👍 6y
BookishMe Little House 💖💖 will look up the other authors you've shared! 😄 😄 6y

#OnlyReadersUnderstand answers

1. I prefer to read one at the time. I feel that I get more absorbed in the story that way

2. I'm a slow reader, so I see a movie

3. Never really thought much about that, but I think I'm there, but only as an observer

4. Don't have kids

Nu-Bibliophile 1. I feel the exact same way! 6y
