Paris Bookseller was a bit out of my comfort zone, but interesting to learn of Sylvia Beach
Agatha Christie book was meh—Can‘t win them all
Late update, I know but these are the books I finished for #NovelNovember readathon. I had some others planned but Dr. Saint Emily Rath herself blessed us with the release of Pucking Ever After Volume 2 on Thanksgiving and I dropped everything and read all 70K words in one day. 💯

Made a bit of a left turn off my November TBR to knock out another #BOTM book for the challenge (5 to go, midway through 2 of them! 🎉) but I‘m not mad about it. Although it started a little slow, I ended up enjoying this magical tale & the world the author created. I liked the characters & thought the story good for a debut. It could have gone deeper into the relationships but I‘d spend more time with them.
pickMy big achievement for the #NovelNovember readathon was finally finishing this 960-page chunkster. The Malazan Book of the Fallen is an incredibly rich and complex series, and I've enjoyed every minute of reading the first 7 books so far, but it's such a commitment!

I am happy with my #NovelNovember #Readathon results even if I switched out some planned books to try & hit a couple of challenges before the end of the year! 🤦🏻♀️ Nothing like a little procrastination pressure to get me going! 🤷🏻♀️

My page goal was 1,000 and I read 975! I really need to pay better attention cause I really could have squeezed in 25 more pages last night.🤦🏾♀️ I finished the two books and got 80% into the third. And most importantly I enjoyed every one of them.

pickBk4 & last from #NovelNovember #readathon is the 3rd of the Jill Kismet series.This series reminds a lot of the Keanu Reeves Constantine movie, which I also love! Jill‘s given a dirty cop case but before she can look into it, she‘s almost killed 3times.And finds a scurf infestation linked to a hellbreed. Someone seriously wants her dead.
