Nice book. I liked the simple language and the atmosphere it created. Would recommend to someone who likes generational stories, old italian towns, hot summers and stories about your roots.

#Falling Day 22: This #CountrySong by Bob Dylan was illuminated by Caldecott medalist Jon J Muth of the Zen shorts (panda series) fame. The result is exquisite. My review here: https://wp.me/pDlzr-dh6

I'm a bit disappointed and it has more to do with the publisher's book blurb of "presents a raw, intimiate glimpse into her creative process." when it's 90% song lyrics of Welch's first 4 albums.
I love Welch and her music but there's very little of this glimpse into her process.
I wouldn't have picked this up to read now knowing what I know but this makes a nice coffee table kind of book.

Spotify would struggle to find an artist I was less interested in seeing tbh.
I‘m posting this here because my Mum has already endured my rant about How To Make Gravy coming 9th in the recent TripleJ Hottest Australian 100 of all time.

I have had this on loop all day. 250 years later, and we're still fighting this. Thanks to all who went out there today to fight the good fight. I got blindsided with a hellacious cold and didn't want to spread my germs, but I've been there in spirit. #resist 💙✊🏻♥️
If you've never seen Schoolhouse Rock, especially this one, it's worth 3 minutes of your time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvOZs3g3qIo
