#Littenswanttoknow I love these prompts!
I love Dame Stella Rimington's Liz Carlyle series, and instead of the quite silly Codename Villanelle series, this one is just crying out for a great adaptation.Great heroine, nuanced villains, thrilling tradecraft-get on this immediately,BBC!
I would love a Ghibli adaptation of Discworld-I don't think anyone else would quite be able to get Pratchett's deep humanism.

Soooo Boring. I don‘t like how the author was still Introducing new characters up to page 230/328 ( doesn‘t make for character development and can be confusing) ... the climax isn‘t until around page 300 and the ending is weird.

I discovered this series this year, and found it oddly soothing-well written fast paced reads with a relatable female protagonist.I used to love Frederick Forsyth books when I was a teenager and these are in the same mould, except I love that it's a female running the action.Perfect weekday comfort read.

Hilarious. The inspiration for Judi Dench playing M quoting a Bond movie!

1. I absolutely love Stella Rimington's books. They've really helped during this period, very fast paced and interesting stories.
2. Spy novels! I love spy novels. All sorts, the OTT ones, the dark ones, the in between ones.
3. I haven't read anything by Mick Herron, my husband ( who usually recommends books I end up loving),says I might enjoy them!

BookmarkTavern Spy novels can be so much fun! Thank you for sharing! 4y

#bookandlunch of my current read. Crime fiction has always appealed to me and I love the fact that the author is able to bring in her personal experience into the story. #currentlyreading #bookworm #crimefiction

This is a very good autobiography of Stella Rimington's life in MI5.
She has also written a series featuring LIz Carlyle a fictional agent from MI5. They are worth reading.

This was really enjoyable! I don‘t often read this genre anymore but I quite liked this. I‘ll try more by Rimington.
