One Dark Throne | Kendare Blake

so-so

The 2nd book in Blake‘s series about 3 triplet queens, gifted w/ different powers who must fight to the death in order to become queen over their island. This book was good, but I definitely favored the first more. I‘m very intrigued in Jules (friend of Queen Arisone) & her role within the story, especially after that last chapter.. I will continue the series, but hope the 3rd book moves a bit faster 📚 #bookreview #kendareblake #litsylovesbooks

398.2 I have so many theories. Lol I don‘t know if any of them are true. I thought that maybe Jules is their sister too. That maybe they are quadruplets. Then I think that Jules and Katherine were switched at birth. Katherine really hasn‘t shown a true power besides surviving a fall. So maybe Jules is the true queen and Katherine is the imposter. What are your theories? 6y

Coco @398.2 Yes I‘m thinking there‘s some relation!!! Either quadruplets & Jules just was sent away from the black cottage before any of them were old enough to remember. Or I think maybe she‘s a half sibling? Diff fathers? Not sure lol! But I think she‘s related somehow & a true queen! Katherine is possessed by the dead queens & think they want vengeance on the temple. I wander if she has a war gift? 6y

398.2 Right! There‘s something there. I really liked Katherine in the first book. She was my favorite but she changed so much. I don‘t really know where she goes from here. It‘s such a huge puzzle and I am wondering what the “mainland” is going to bring. Good thing there‘s two more books lol 6y
