Today marks the 201st anniversary of Austen‘s passing. I was going to read Northanger Abbey today, but I have so many books to finish up...I‘ll keep that treat until later!

pickWhat a delightful little book! The illustrations are charming, and I liked the mix of little and big words to help kids learn meaning and connotation. A nice introduction to Jane and her life, with a brief description of each of her novels at the very end of the book.
There was one fact presented that I‘m remembering a little differently, but I could be wrong! In any case, a very worthy read for Janeites. #janeiteforlife
