Since I love history so much, I‘ve thought about what historical figures I‘ve read about I‘d want to meet. I‘d invite Pharaoh Hatshepsut, Pirate Queen Ching Shih, General/Queen Fu Hao, Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine, Joan of Arc, and Queen Boudicca. I would have an assortments of foods from each of their cultures and we‘d spend the night chatting about their lives (so I can be a history nerd and record all of it :)

I'm a sap who just wants to see people happy so I'd probably invite all my favorite romcom couples: Alex & Henry, Dev & Charlie, Luc & Oliver, Delilah & Claire, Astrid & Jordan, Simon & Baz, Ellie & Jack, Nick & Charlie

We would play board games or do puzzles and it would be a magical queer game night with laughter and love 💖✨

I'd make food from various countries and prepare a Ladies Night to share travel stories, including romantic adventures!🤭
Who I'd invite: Auntie Mame (tagged), Miss Fisher (Miss Fisher's Murder Mystery Series) Aunt Augusta (Travels with my Aunt), Irene (The Invisible Library Series) and Bibi Chen (Saving Fish from Drowning).

This is always such a tough question for me cause I would much rather go into a story then have the characters come into my world lol

But I think hanging out with the characters from Heartstopper would be cute and fun! I'd order a bunch of food and we could watch movies and play games. Oh and I'd take them to my favorite local cafe and we'd all get fun drinks and pastries. 🥐🧋

Even at an early age I loved Sherlock Holmes mysteries, so I‘d go with Sherlock, Dr. Watson, and Irene Adler. For the entertainment, I would leave a bunch of fake clues around so every time Holmes used one to make a deduction about me, I could tell him, “That‘s not even close! You were way off!” Holmes wouldn‘t be amused, but I‘m sure Watson and Adler will enjoy watching Holmes suffer!😂

I‘ll be inviting the fascinating secondary characters whose presence totally makes the novels I‘ve been reading lately, but whose thoughts we never get to see to so I can ask them all the questions. Since I don‘t really know them I have no clue if they‘ll get along, so this may be a disaster, but it‘ll be fun for me. Entertaining is not my strong suit and because I‘m lazy today I‘m choosing a comfort food potluck with all of my favorite Three Pines characters from the tagged series. I can look forward to lively and weird conversation with a few f*cks thrown in from Ruth‘s duck. That and a glass of wine would make a perfect evening.

Okay, instead of fictional characters can I make my night's guests authors/posts? Because this is something I think about A LOT! 💕📚 I want to have Virginia Woolf, Vita Sackville-West, Katherine Mansfield, Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, and Anne Sexton all over for dinner and wine! We would spend the evening discussing writing! The amount of times I have fantasized about this is, frankly, embarrassing! 😊

I'm trying to create a character trait clash with this cast of characters at a dinner party!

Lady Catherine de Bourgh next to Count Alexander Roskov
Miss Bates next to Benedict (from the tagged book - he's an ex-monk, and lives a relatively quiet life)
Sir William Elliot next to Hermione Granger (I can imagine Sir William being a bit like the Malfoys)

I would have a Shakespeare dinner party. I would invite several important characters from a few of my favorite plays and then have a marathon of film adaptations, great & not so great, of their work to see their reactions.
