I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.

Chapter 26 listed multiple factors contributing to George Bush‘s loss of the 1992 election. I want to know what factors stood out to you that led to Bush‘s loss #themanwhoranwashington #peterbaker #susanglasser #jamesbaker #georgehwbush #billclinton #williamclinton #1992election #politicalscience #history #ushistory #uspolitics

Barbara is such an interesting person! As a woman of her generation, she married young and unconditionally supported her husband whether it was moving to Texas or running for president without asking her opinion. But she did have opinions of her own and expressed them as she could be it was wearing a pro-choice button at the 1980 Republican convention or working with AIDS charities when others in her party were turning away. #roll100

Tamra Wow, I wish more were so courageous now! 2y
Megabooks @Tamra yes, and in her final interviews with the author before her death, she said she no longer considered herself a Republican because of the direction the Party was going under Trump. They asked many of the other people interviewed if HW or W would‘ve been president without her influence and the older generation said yes, HW would have, but Boomers and younger gave her the credit I (Xer) thinks she should have! 2y

This was an audio book and it was neat to hear George‘s & Barbara‘s voices. I learned more about their accomplishments and what all around decent people they are.

First one was mildly interesting, but stopped when it was getting good. Second and third one were not interesting at all.
