I sucked at my own #FowlaDay challenge. Probably because most of it is rereads. But I shall be continuing it this year.

All y‘all! How could Chuck Tingle not be more popular? This was a good year with #LitsyAfterDark & #FreakyFriendsForever. I wonder what 2019 will bring? I didn‘t finish #FowlADay and that‘s on my list for 2019. 😬😀

KrystleTheBookSlayer Oh my gosh, I forgot to add my Chuck Tingle reads to my goodreads count! 😂😂😂 5y
jpmcwisemorgan @KrystleTheBookSlayer 😮 Poor Chuck, being forgotten. 😉 5y

“Barely an hour north of Dublin‘s fair city lies the Fowl estate, where the boundaries have changed little in the past five hundred years.”

With all the adventure, wit, and magic I love about the series, this sixth book involves time travel, an extinct lemur, and Artemis‘s most challenging nemesis yet: himself. I‘m glad I enjoyed reading it just as much a second time.

#BackpackEurope: Ireland ✔️

#FowlADay (Well, more like #FowlInADay.)

Today, I‘m headed from England to Ireland to spend some time with my favorite genius criminal mastermind and his fairy friends.

As mentioned before, I suck at reading challenges where the book are pre picked. Even if it's my own challenge. I AM going to finish this challenge. #fowladay

5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I read this book when it first came out and loved everything about it. Now, 15 years later, this book is just as much fun, worldly, timely, and crazy as it was before. It‘s a heist, and dangerous, but it also has heart. The heart grows with each book in the series, but it‘s there, and entirely worth the read. Now if only they dont mess up the movie. Here's hoping the movie is more Lord of the Rings than Eragon.

Dragon I have my fingers crossed 🤞 I hope the movie is true to the book. Loved this series. 6y

3⭐️ Ehhh. Maybe if I had not read the original book I might have liked this graphic novel better. The illustrations are well done, I just do not like the look they have given to any of the characters. Plus, the story has been so simplified that it loses its heart, and some characters are just side pieces to be killed off and forgotten about. Skip this book and read the real thing. You will thank me for it.

Another one down! I think I might like this one best so far. Artemis is growing up and, as a main character, showing real development - less focused on the plan, more complex. And for Opal, it‘s a bit of be careful what you wish for in the end. #FowlADay

So it‘s not so much #FowlADay as it is #FowlAMonth but I am determined to read them all. I don‘t recall this book at all so I‘m not sure if I‘ve read it. Something just happened that I‘m sure I would have remembered!!!

Young Professor Moriarty, I mean, Artemis Fowl is at it again. He‘s overstepped a bit more than usual and with both parents back in residence his nefarious plots might be curtailed. Well, that and the fact he might not remember everything. Sometimes the best laid plans can go awry. #fowladay
