KAO I kept having to reread sentences, as my mind wandered pitifully during this short chapter. Thank goodness this didn‘t go on longer! I liked the last bit, however, about how the spiritual seed of wisdom didn‘t find fertile ground (or “hooks”) in Mr. Tulliver and simply blew away without taking hold. More foreshadowing, I presume! 5h
