These are the books (and tchotchkes) that were in front of my books on my bookshelf.
My goodness I have a lot of books to read to “fit” in my bookshelves.
They‘re not even a small bookshelves!!

1. Turn in our tax documents (boo) and book a place for our April long weekend vacation (yay).
2. English teacher because I loved reading (surprise surprise)
3. A trip to Northwest Europe at the end of the year for my friend‘s birthday 🎉
4. Really enjoying the tagged book. It‘s helping me take my job in academia less seriously 😂

This email made me laugh. In the endlessly quotable words of Neil Gaiman, “Truth is, there aren‘t any grown-ups. Not one, in the whole wide world.”
11-1-23: My October Book Wrap Up!! Another month with a low reading count but I definitely enjoyed everything. Here‘s hoping I pick up the pace in November! ⭐️📖⭐️
This book I chose for my club this month wasn‘t a good choice. I wish I would have DNF‘d it. Someone in my club DNF‘d it. I thought it was going to be a good choice. Hopefully, I will choose better books for my club. I don‘t know what to choose for next month. If I get tired of doing this club or if it‘s not working out, I can shut it down. Not everything in life works out and that‘s okay.
This is the first book I read this month and I ended up getting word search points after searching for this book on Google Books just by looking for the words. I wasn‘t keeping track of the words when I was listening to this book. Now, I can get points for this. This is not a scary book so I didn‘t think I would find any of the words from the word search in it.

Here‘s my review for a book I finished reading last night at 4 AM. I chose this book for my book club on Fable.
I‘m also counting this book for a readathon and a reading challenge:
Dionysus | God of Wine & Madness:
A book where the main character loses their mind - #greekmythologychallenge
Book read (unrelated) - #scarathlon #HHC
10-1-23: My 89th finished book of 2023! I started this book before my move and had to give it back to the library only 1 chapter in. Happy to say I finished it just now. The AMC show Lucky Hank starring Bob Odenkirk is based on this book and was a great show. I equally enjoyed this story. William Henry Devereux, Jr. is the chair of the English department at Railton University in Pennsylvania. Mid-life crisis ensues. Colorful cast or characters.
