Selling Manhattan | Carol Ann Duffy
Mehso-so

Hmm, I didn't remember many of these, mostly just “Warming Her Pearls“ -- which was still good, but maybe the only one I really *liked*. Probably I should spend some more time over them; I best like the poems I've studied, when it comes to Duffy.

Mind you, I hadn't studied most of the Rapture collection, so maybe I just prefer her later work.

Portlands first annual Queers and Quills.

Super excited to be behind the scenes and helping out!

Super proud of our organizers especially after the disaster we saw with the Million Lives event 😂.

We are sold out booked and busy with over 100 queer authors

A beautiful novel in verse that explores themes of identity, self, loss of self, and family. #poetrymatters #novelinverse #nationalpoetrymonth

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Written in prose, home is not a country is a poignant & moving book about finding yourself & loving yourself. It's about making your life, despite the imperfections, 100% your own. And therein living it without dismay over what could have been & instead simply being proud of who you are & grateful for what is.

Can NOT recommend this book highly enough! (Even the acknowledgement section at the end made me cry. This book was just THAT good.)

I had bought this book used over ten years ago. I loved the way it was written. It is an Arthurian tale mainly told through the eyes of Elaine. I enjoyed reading this book. I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
