The switches between Rune and Thorn as narrators would have been less jarring if she labeled the sections. Just too much going on - unique RoseBlood school situation, new friends, mysterious past and family, phantoms underground with their own mysterious pasts and connections, psychic vampires (that was a weird curveball), and romance. After reading the epilogue, I understand the real-life and literary references of why she put all of that in.

It was ok, the play is arguably better. Music is better heard instead of read.

That reminds me, I'm due for a re-read of the tagged book...

In all seriousness, I will accept no slander of my girl Susan and her fully epic take on the Phantom. How this complete and total fanfic ever got published, I don't know, but the 13 year old that perpetually lives in me is so grateful that it did! 😭😂🙏

Ruthiella Every Nancy Drew I read in elementary school! 🤣 1y
rubyslippersreads I read this after seeing Michael Crawford in the musical. Might be time for a reread for me too. It‘s very entertaining fanfiction. 12mo

I ADOREEEEE....Robert Englund....this was such a fun read and he has had such an amazing life and career. Reading stories about his adventures immediately makes you want to watch or re-watch whichever movie he is talking about. Totally recommend this to his fans or movie buffs.
