AllDebooks I have so much to catch up on, book reviews, #NaturaLitsy #VirginiaBloomsberries #TheLittensSociety 😅 This is my favourite time of year but also the hardest for me. I'll literally hibernate until spring now to try and control my asthma flare-ups. Just had back to back chest infections, and I am worn out. Planning a restful weekend. 2w

dabbe So sorry you're dealing with asthma; it's the worst at this time of year, isn't it? Hoping you're feeling better and that you have a restful weekend. We're lying low in the boat this weekend, too. Pip and her seizures last week put us through the ringer (even had to cancel our trip up north to deal with the poor girl), but the new meds seem to be working. Looking forward to the 7th baseball game today--go, Blue Jays! 🩵⚾️💙 2w

There has been an incredible response to this little idea of mine. Consequently, I will close the sign-up window at the end of the month. I will reopen it for a short period on a quarterly timescale.

All are welcome to join us. There will be regular group emails, a Litsy page, a Discord server, and who knows what else we will come up with over the next few months.

Bookwormjillk @AllDebooks that sounds perfect! It‘s pleasantly chilly here. My son has a race this morning and then it‘s the big homecoming dance for the kids tonight. It‘s going to be a late night for me so I slept in a bit. 1mo

kspenmoll It‘s cold here in CT but it‘s supposed to hit 80 later today! Wacky weather! Reading now, but I will be doing errands this morning, then plan one small house project, finally time to read on the porch before dinner. Stay cozy! (edited) 1mo

peaKnit @kspenmoll it‘s fall in the morning, summer in the afternoon in WI too. Brrr. I‘m headed off for a shift at the library. I overslept taking my college kiddo to a volunteer gig because my alarm was on silent (how does that happen?!) - my husband let me sleep. Folks, I never sleep, this is a miracle. 🌟 1mo

Librarybelle I love the cool mornings (I‘m not a warm/hot weather person)! The weekend will fly by—I have a billion things to do but will most likely sit down and fall asleep. 😂 Have a good weekend everyone! 1mo

quietlycuriouskate I'm meant to be on the Welsh coast now but because of Storm Amy we're not travelling until tomorrow 😒. On the plus side, multiple last-minute changes of plan have not triggered a meltdown so, given the circumstances, I'm actually feeling surprisingly buoyant. 1mo

dabbe Our Pippa had an epileptic episode this morning, so we're laying low with her. She's doing fine now, but we'll be staying close and keeping an eye on her. Of course that means lots of cuddles and book reading. Have a lovely weekend, everyone! 🧡💜💛 1mo
