I love a good map in the front of my book

Leniverse Oh yes! 6y
eraderneely @Leniverse Have you read The Widows of Malabar Hill? It‘s fantastic so far. 6y
Leniverse I hadn't even hear of it until this. But female lawyer/sleuth in India in the 1920s? Written by a female author from India? (Ok, she lives in America, but still...) And with a detailed map? Yeah, added to my TBR. 😃 6y

Sisasuku Honestly, maps are the main reason why I regularly regret buying ebooks. I'd love to have this one to look up where Ged is travelling around! 6y

Pickpick

When I heard about this on #TheLibrarianIsIn #podcast I knew I had to read it! While it goes off the rails fairly early, it's totally worth it for the diverse cast (special shoutout to the non binary character named Hero - it was refreshing to read "they/them"), general silliness, and of course the feral hippos.
Just watch out that it's more gruesome than I thought it needed to be - too many eye stabbings!
#StartsWithAMap bonus!

UrsulaMonarch @lindy my thoughts in case you are interested! 6y
rmaclean4 Thanks for your review. I have had my eye on this one. 6y
UrsulaMonarch @rmaclean4 my pleasure! I'd say go for it, especially since it's short - but the very best part to me was the premise, so I'd say if it's not your cup of tea to start, don't keep going as it doesn't change! 😄just my opinion ☺️ 6y
