An awkward, excitable, and easily discouraged teenager gains superpowers on her 15th birthday and discovers that it‘s tough balancing her crime fighting duties with her life. Overall, a fun read with a Hispanic superhero girl, but the pacing and concept didn‘t capture me. It was hard to tell who the intended audience was since this reads like middle grade. Used for #RushathonChristmasBingo made you laugh prompt. #Comic #Superhero

Lindy I haven‘t read Quince, but I‘ve seen this described as “family friendly” and Comics Beat describes it as YA, so perhaps the intended audience is tweens and younger teens. 4mo

Two women brought together by grief become instant enemies & hate-work together to save the tree farm their departed loved one left behind. A charming fall/winter enemies to lovers holiday romance. I enjoyed the characters and how they worked through their respective trauma. I wish the dad had been a character and not just a boogie man, and that we got more of the tree farm flavor than the small glimpse. #LGBTQIA #RushathonChristmasBingo

This manga keeps getting better with each new volume. There was great character development and delightful side characters in this volume as Asahi and Mitsuki continue their trip around the world. All of the food and location illustrations continue to be absolutely stunning as well. I used this for my #RushathonChristmasBingo next in series prompt. #LGBTQ #Manga #Travel
