#Falling Cider took me a while, but I found this cute camp song 🎵 Theae girls were really good. @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
Continues to be adorable for the most part.
I will say the introduction of the new cat took over this volume to the extent that the gamer metaphors dropped off, and instead of the first cat making life interesting for gamer girl, it was more about the second cat making life interesting for the first cat. Perhaps the author was tired, but there did seem to be larger swathes of physical comedy or just tracking cat action, with no words involved. 1
Nightfall really has little worry for herself and her sole focus is Loid, which is certainly odd but pales to Yuri's almost borderline infatuation with his sister. Just when I thought he could be ok, he does something a little unhinged like in this volume's case he was able to pinpoint Yor from a scent and sound of her footprint... From her accent and sound of her footfall.
Like I know he's fictional but creeper.
I like volume 2 even more than volume 1! We get a deeper look into the family personalities and discover a second secret ally. I really enjoyed the horror game chapter 😂 The mom also had a lot of moments of reflection and growth as she noticed happenings in the world around her and realized ways they might impact her son. #LGBTQIA #Manga #Motherhood
Witch Hat Atelier 12
My oh my, oh my, oh my!! There‘s so much going on in this volume, lots of action! I‘m actually not done reading it yet because then I‘d only have 1 volume left until next spring 😭 Also the anime has been delayed until 2026, too 😭
This series is too good 😆👍🏼

An adorable manga about a mom quietly being an ally for her less-than-subtle son who she suspects is gay. I enjoyed the high levels of fluff in this first volume. #LGBTQIA #Motherhood
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.5/5)
I really wanted to love this one as I adore books and the thought of living in a town that is a book haven sounded like a dream. The beginning had a strong start, however it got a little confusing in the middle and I was unsure of what was happening. I‘m intrigued to see how the series continues and perhaps another volume might increase my standing for this series.
