#pemberlittlens, #thewatsonsreadalong I will be doing two posts for each version. This is the unfinished Austen edition. I read until we learn that Emma is 19. Emma and her eldest sister Elizabeth are traveling to the Edwards‘s so that Emma can attend the ball. Elizabeth warns Emma is the dashingly charming rake, Tom Musgrave, who has flirted with all the Watson ladies but is not serious about any of them.

Chapter 4. It‘s nice to see that there might be a friendship forming. Hopefully, a better friendship than that of Mrs Allen and Mrs Thorpe.

#pemberlittlens #chapteraday #chapter40 Lizzie finally gets to vent to Jane. Ultimately Lizzie doesn‘t have the heart to tell her about Bingham but they discuss the problem with Wickham and Darcy. They ultimately decide not to share Wickham‘s bad behavior. I find the above dialogue to be so impactful and so relevant. How true do you find this? Sort of in the same way that the least intelligent people always seem to have the most to say.
