Just wow. Sometimes when I see a book is written in verse, it feels gimmicky to me. On the other hand, The Poet X does not feel like it could be written any other way. It's addictive, gorgeous, and just awesome. I'm almost speechless about how good it is. I'm just like... awkward noise, hand flail, shoving this book into your arms and scurrying away.
