#MarchIntoThe70s #HighwayToHell Home from town... day off ... Reading tagged book with very healthy lunch ( coffee cake & cream ) ... also got the next in the series Lazy Bones ... Scaredy Cat is a fairly dark one #highwaytohell kind of vibe ... loving this Crime author & now have #3 in my possession ( long story ... good story ... Litsy is the best !! @youneverarrived

Manhattan Beach: A Novel | Jennifer Egan

#Booked2019 🗽🏖 🎯🛒🛍📚NYC, the beach, Target, TJ‘s and any bookstore all qualify as my #HappyPlace
I know this book was universally disliked , but at 100 pages in, I‘m enjoying 🤷🏼‍♀️Hoping to find this on #audio so I can take it on the go...need to do some #LitsyWalking #LitsyWalkers 🎧👟🌤🥾

Tex2Flo For me, this one kept ALMOST GETTING THERE and never quite doing that. I had high hopes after her first, but I‘m not giving up on Egan. Still feel she is a talented writer. 5y
