I can see why people are talking about this one. Well written, but man does it make me feel squicky. I am 40% through and want to see what happens next. #LitsyReadingChallenge #LitsyRC10

I think the general consensus here is that we didn't see that coming. This is one of those books you need your bestie to read so you can talk about over wine, because no one else would get it @Karli #LitsyRC10

Karli Yes ma'am. We shall trade piles in April. 7y

#litsyreadingchallenge check in #litsyrc7 was Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. I am in process of #litsyrc10 Behind Her Eyes as well as Hidden Figures for #litsyrc13
Anyone else going to read The Zookeeper this month to see the movie?

Mindyrecycles I'll definitely read it this year but don't think I'll get to it this month. 😕 7y

Wow! Loved this so much. I read thrillers more than any other genre and I always, always know what's coming; certainly by the last few chapters. But no way was I expecting that! Definitely deserves the #WTFending tag it's getting. Fucking brilliant. If you read thrillers, buy this now!! ❤️📚💕

JoeStalksBeck Just got this on audible! 7y

Smangela Just picked this and The Possessions for my February Book of the Month Club... I can't wait 😍 7y
DeborahSmall @GoodallBookHaul @LeahBergen you won't be disappointed x 7y
DeborahSmall @Smangela it's so good. The so-so reviews I've read are mostly from readers that don't read thrillers. So glad I ignored them ❤️ 7y
JoeStalksBeck I'm starting it tomorrow. Sounds amazing to me! 7y
LiteraryinLawrence Good to know that it lived up to the hype for you! It's on my TBR and might have to be moved up, if I can get it from the library. 7y

Actually, I finished this last night, but sleep. Really great! The ending was bittersweet. Anything in my opinion that brings to light the atrocities of the Nazis, even in a fictional way, is good.

Wow, my heart. Gosh, I felt this.

Having two POV's worked well here because Violet + Finch had very different things going on + it was necessary to see both sides of the story emerge.

I was drawn to Finch's side of the story, right away, from Page 1. I felt really connected to his inner thoughts. I wasn't as attached to Violet, but seeing her range of emotion was helpful, especially in the last half.
