WOW! This was #WeirdAndWonderful and uniquely original. I can‘t believe I actually “believed” the transformation. Lewis & Wren meet cute, fall in love and then he receives a medical diagnosis that changes {*almost*) everything. I mean this book is CRAZY but beautiful ( and a bit hokey😉)But man, I LOVED IT!! Audio was fantastic too🎧Top 10 of the year for sure🙌🏻🦈❤️ #CoverCrush

Loved this #covercrush choice! I appreciate when someone can laugh through pain, and McInerny chronicles the years after her husband‘s death from brain cancer with candor and humor. It‘s been several years since his death, and my favorite essay dealt with losing touch with close friends after and the joy of finding their way back together. She writes about parenthood both solo after his death and in a blended family with her second husband.

Megabooks @Chelsea.Poole you might be able to do it since it is not focused on the cancer or her first husbands death directly (or about the immediate grief). She‘s looking back after a second marriage and a child from that marriage. It‘s not as raw, if that makes sense. 2y
