Two things I learned about myself today. 1--I love being able to use two different library systems. 2--I am a #coversnob. Checked out the left edition from one system, horrified by the windswept, romance-looking cover. Went to my other library system yesterday and found the edition on the right. Feeling this one more. Seems to convey to me more of what the story is actually about. To those who have read Rebecca, which cover suits it better?

LeahBergen Most definitely the one on the right! (and I'm a huge cover snob, too 😆). 7y
TheWordJar Glad to hear I'm not the only one! 7y
rubyslippersreads Definitely the one on the right. 7y

underthebelljar The right for sure! That one captures the feeling of the novel much better. 7y
Daisey I agree about the one on the right! 7y
LauraBrook For sure on the right, but I'm curious what the Rebecca diaries are on the left one! 7y
ReadingEnvy This book may have suffered the worst covers I swear!! 7y
TheWordJar @LeahBergen @rubyslippersreads @BookishJess @Daisey @LauraBrook @ReadingEnvy Thanks for validating my snap judgment on the left cover! 😂 7y
TheWordJar @LauraBrook At the end of this edition, there is "a letter by du Maurier describing her experience of writing the novel; an essay about the real house upon which the fictional Manderley was based; and the original epilogue." 7y
SilversReviews Love this book. (edited) 7y
Allkat The one on right. Makes me anxious like the book. 7y
