I loved spooky books when I was younger. My favorite of which was the Cirque du Freak novels! Teen boy becomes a vampire‘s assistant at a traveling freak show and it just escalates from there. Highly underrated in my opinion. @callielafleur #clearingtheshelves2

When I was younger, the scary books I read were from R.L. Stine‘s Goosebumps! I remember going to the book store looking frantically when he would write a new book because I just had to have it! I used to also love to spook myself out by watching the Goosebumps series on tv. I would love fear Street to add to my collection 💀

Thanks so much to @callielafleur for this amazing #clearingtheshelves2 giveaway! I had all these books at some point and Fear Street was pretty much all I read as a kid. I can remember begging to go to B. Dalton at the mall to buy them. My favorite was The Prom Queen. 🖤🖤🖤

I love RL Stine and I'm actually hosting the Goosebumps Challenge in October this year. But I have to say my most favorite would be the Scary Stories collection by Alvin Schwartz. Those illustrations are life scarring!
