Opposites attract in the wonderful romance. Finn makes his money by using logic and reason in the gambling halls, but has never been one for academics. Tabitha prefers focusing on her studies to socializing with the ton. But both need to be married as quickly as possible and agree to have a marriage of convenience. I really enjoyed all the characters and can't wait for the final book in the series.

This was every bit as fun to read as Boyfriend Material. Luc and Oliver are two years into the relationship and surrounded by friends and exes getting married. I enjoyed seeing the growth of both characters. I found the ending very satisfying, even if I wish there had been an epilogue.

writerlibrarian I love ☂️☂️☂️ ending. Maybe and it is just an idea we might get a Father material Parent material 😉 2w
sebrittainclark @writerlibrarian I was actually wondering the same thing. I hope we do! 2w
peanutnine @writerlibrarian @sebrittainclark Alexis Hall just announced that the series will have a total of five books! The third will be about a character from Husband Material and the fourth is called Father Material 😄 2w
sebrittainclark @peanutnine yes! I can't wait to read them all. 2w

This was such a fun take on small town romance! New Yorker Adi is a sucker for hallmark movies, so when she learns a nearby town is living the life of a movie plot, Adi goes to write the story of her life. Except, Pleasant Hollow is nothing like TV. The locals aren't welcoming, there's no tight knit community, and the one person Adi hits it off with is also from NYC.

Final totals for #20in4
I enjoyed the 3 books I finished and ended with at total of 580 pages read. My goal was 500 so I‘m very happy with those results. I did want to finish MMaM so I could complete my #ARCAugust list but 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Thanks to @Andrew65 for hosting. I hope everyone got tons of good pages in.

Andrew65 Brilliant, thanks for playing along. 👏👏👏🙌🥳🥳🍾🥂😍 12mo

First day of #ARCAugust and one of my books is already a flop. Turns out netgalley archived it on July 27th and that takes it out of the app. I‘ll have to pay way more attention when it comes to their audiobooks.

audraelizabeth I think there is a way to renew and thus get it again but im not sure how. 2y

The Seventh Cross | Anna Seghers

He was overcome by a feeling of belonging.....For Franz it meant simply belonging to this bit of soil, to its people, and being a member of the morning shift cycling to the Hoechst plant, but above all it meant belonging to the living.

Only new in the sense this is a new translation into English.
