Happy Birthday Maggie! It won‘t let me tag you for some reason. I don‘t often register acts that I do that would be considered kind, just because it‘s who I am. I‘m kind just because 😅 But I do remember about a week ago I was at my library browsing the shelves and I overheard a little boy asking his mom for a Calvin and Hobbes book. She said she didn‘t know where to find them and told him to hurry up. I didn‘t think much of it until👇🏻
RainyDayReading The little boy approached me, mistaking me for a librarian and asked for my help finding Calvin and Hobbes. The computer system was down, and he looked so hopeful I wasn‘t about to tell him no. so I placed my books aside and started to hunt through the places where I thought they might have shelved the book. Eventually to his delight I found a copy that he hadn‘t read yet and he ran proudly to his mom to go check it out (: 6y
