I am still loving this series. We get to see the characters continue to grow in their relationship and in their professional lives in this volume, and dove into the lives of some side characters as a fun aside. #LGBTQIA #Manga

It looks like the second book, Theory of Happiness isn't quite on Litsy yet. I really enjoyed the character exploration we get in this second volume as Tai explores career options in accessibility and Kohei works to understand the ways an inaccessible society have impacted his behavior and social relationships over time. Some very sweet moments in their relationship growth as well. #manga #LGBTQIA #DisabilitiesRep
Why does this look like a #manga variation of the Arthur fist meme? 🤣
I started this series earlier today, and after reading two books, I immediately went to the library to nab the rest of the series. It's about a growing relationship between two male teens. One has a hearing impairment. As their friendship grows, so do romantic feelings. I'm such a sucker for the BL genre #fujoshi 🥰 With disability representation to boot, it's a definite win.

This is for the second volume Theory of Happiness. I couldn't find an entry for it.
The miscommunication got really annoying after awhile. Nothing got resolved until the end and everything could have been solved by talking and not making assumptions. It's a trope I'm not fond of.
It's still a good fluffy, wholesome read.
The hearing impaired/hard of hearing representation was handled really well. The book captured how isolating it can be not being able to hear people around you and how people's perception of you can change.
The romance was a sweet slow build and felt natural. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this series and I think there is a film adaptation too.
My husband found this for me and I really enjoyed it. The characters are loveable and I liked the art style. I don't think I've ever read a manga with disabilities rep, let alone one that takes on ableism. I look forward to more of this story. #Manga #LGBTQ #Disabilities
This short series was beautiful and a wonderful insight into the deaf world. I loved every page. ♥️
Manga is just not my genre but with a task to read just that I sought out a book with a Deaf character hoping it would keep my attention. Not sure if it was simply because it was manga or the translation or just me but I struggled through this book and have no desire to read the next two that the library bought just for my request. 😔
This had a few moments that were really good. Unfortunately, most of it was a little forgettable. I liked looking into the feelings of a person with hearing challenges, and i wish we had more of those moments. The other main character was a bit annoying and not memorable. The storyline wasn't great either, sadly.
⭐⭐💫
This counted as my standalone (E for Arithmancy) for the #NEWTs
i wish more people read manga and understood that it's more than guns and explosions. this is a wonderful story about a student who's name is kohei and who has a hearing disability, because of this he doesn't talk to other students very often, that is until he meets taichi. taichi's words cut through kohei's usual defense mechanisms like i knife, and open his heart.
more than friends, less than lovers, their relationship changes kohei forever.
An incredibly sweet and thoughtful little book. In such a short amount of time, it still manages to delve impressively deep into what it‘s like to be disabled in a society that is very much still in the process of destigmatizing disability. I‘m so glad it‘s a series, and I can‘t wait for the next to be translated!
