I feel out of it from my trip—are we still haikuing? I hope so! It‘s such a little zen moment in my day. Today‘s inspiration was a cup of Mo‘s clam chowder I got at PDX yesterday & ate on the airplane. With my quick weekend visit, I didn‘t have time to get to the Oregon Coast but this chowder unlocks fond memories of childhood visits to Lincoln City.🥣🌊💙

dabbe You betcha we're still haikuing! I'll post a blurb in a few moments. Clam/seafood chowder is my all-time favorite soup. Eating it while you're near water is the best it can get! Thanks for that memory with your words! 💙🍲🩵 2d

ImperfectCJ I haven't been able to eat clam chowder since I learned that I can't do dairy (20 years ago!), but I miss it and encourage my kids to order it whenever it's available so I can live vicariously through them. I appreciate your comfort food haiku! 2d
Itchyfeetreader Love this. I don‘t like seafood so realised only embarrassingly late in life that meant I couldsrkkk eat a corn chowder. Anyway welcome home ! (edited) 2d
